Home

there are things so sweet they’d make you cry.
there’s a silence ever deafening.
in darkness you see the colour of your heart,
so clearly your fears and desires.

there’s a cold so chilling your limbs would burn,
a heat could make you shiver.
light so strong could mar your sight,
faint scents hold all to remember.

in drowsiness, your mind races sonic speed,
day breaks when deep sleep drapes.
the ones attractive are most different from you,
more alike, further apart they grew.

your future is unforeseeable, but it’s built on the past,
what you yearn is what you owned.
somethings you cherish you leave behind,
a road leads you far sends you home.

  1. I couldn’t agree more,Cecilia. Time to let go and jump joyfully into the void, seeing where our words take us. It’s scary, isn’t it? But kind of exhilarating…thankyou for sharing the journey with us!

Any thoughts?
