jamie oliver’s fifteen minute meal
serving smashed spud, peas, cod, bacon and greens.
we’ve got a warm salad, cooked surf ‘n turf,
all done nice and quick, no compromise, no frills.

coat the cod with crumbs, throw into oven,
all done nice and quick, no compromise, no frills;
it’s proper fish fingers made for grown ups.

cod coated with crumbs, now out of oven,
we’re good to move on to the potatoes,
they are spiced with tabasco for grown ups,
every bite chunky, not the mushy type.

having done with the potatoes,
tossed rockets, panchetta on olive oil,
we have a hearty tartar sauce homemade:
dollops of mayonnaise, squeezes of lemon.
